This Georgian residence set over four floors offers huge amounts of space and is perfect for groups and families. Built over 350 years ago, it boasts traditional features while offering a capacity for 22 people over 10 bedrooms with exclusive use of the two hot tubs and terraces.
The terraces offer a large relaxing space to enjoy the dining and seating area, alongside the large premium hot tub with waterfall and fountains. The heated pool, is great for kids and the inflatables are included. The garden offers a space to sit and enjoy the sunshine, vegetable patch or cook yourself a meat feast on the BBQ.
The bedrooms offer something for everyone. From the huge master suite with its own fireplace, antique furniture and its ensuite. The ensuite boasts a freestanding bath with book-matched marble backdrop and a large walk in rain shower. The queen room with its pleasant views offers its own ensuite with bath and stylish sink, alongside its antique wooden bed and wardrobe space. The junior room has two single beds. The book tree and boat inspired lights make this the perfect place for kids or those who are young at heart. The top floor offers more bedrooms so you can accommodate everyone you need. There is a double bedroom with views over the valley and its own mezzanine supported on 300 year old oak beams. Another bedroom has space for two guests in a double bed and door built from ships timbers. The main bathroom offers a bath and shower with massage jets, marble floor and modern fittings.
There are two lounges, the main one is a generous ten metres by five and the second five metres by five. While the library also has seating and a wide array of books.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need for your stay. Dishwasher, large American style fridge freezer, separate drinks fridge, 5 burner range cooker and dual oven are all included for you to use. Don’t want to cook? No problems, the Indian takeaway gets 5 stars and is just a 30 second walk away. There are multiple dining spaces, the kitchen, the servants dining room or the main dining hall. The large dining table provides a communal dining experience for up to 22 guests, while the pool table and board games offer something for everyone.
You will have private and exclusive use of the entire site, including the two lodges on the drive (Sleep two or four in each) and the apartment (sleeps six).
Free High Speed WIFI is included and there is plenty of free parking on site. Travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available on request.

Interaction with Guests
We are available via call/text. We like to give our guests as much privacy as they like, so keys are left in a secure location so you check-in and check-out whenever you wish.
The Neighbourhood
Box has plenty to offer, an indian restaurant just 100m away, three pubs all serving good food and a wide array of small convenience shops. This is a great location if exploring the surrounding Cotswolds countryside, visiting Lacock, Badminton, Bath, Bristol or working at the MOD in Corsham
Getting Around
Parking is right outside. The buses run regularly into Bath (up to 4 per hour, takes 15-20 mins) and Chippenham (up to 3 per hour takes 30 mins). Timetables can be found online. We also have a parking map for car parks in Bath.

Eleanor was very helpful and hospitable. The property is situated in a beautiful part of the world and has a great space for socializing as a large group. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tubs.

A fantastic venue for a big group of people. Brilliant large socialising space and a great kitchen for cooking. All the accommodation seemed newly refurbed and was very clean. If you have 10-16 people in your party try and car share as there isn’t a huge amount of room on the drive although it didn’t cause us any problems and the host was very relaxed about us parking cars wherever they fit. A great stay.

Spacious accommodation. Worked out very well for our large group visiting the Uk for cricket World Cup. Very comfortable stay. Way access to Bath and other area visiting sites.
14 of us had a great stay last weekend at Elle's for my friend's hen do. The position is great for Bath, and Box is a beautiful village. Elle was super helpful in the run up to our stay answering my many questions, and baked bread for us too! The hot tub, pool table and communal areas were all brilliant for a big group. Thanks Elle!
